In Selangor, a tourist attraction is Templer's Park, a tropical rainforest park with waterfalls as a main attraction. Besides the cascading waterfalls, altogether a series of 7 waterfalls, tourists also go there to enjoy the peaceful environment, the beautiful scenery and to see the plants and animals found there.
There are trees that have been around for years. There are unusual insects and animals like the monkeys are common sight. Visitors also go there for trekking, and taking a dip in the small rivers and plunge pools of the waterfalls. They can have fun with their families and friends and enjoy the cool water of the waterfalls or have picnics near the waterfalls.
When tourists visit these places, they will require the services of tourist-related providers such as tour guides, transport companies and small retail shops to get refreshment after a tiring adventure in the park. These activities generate income for the economy of Selangor.
